Monthly Meeting:

The Douglas County Charter Chapter of ABWA currently meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month. We feature speakers, a delicious meal, learning events, networking, career mentoring, volunteer opportunities, and so much more! Dinner and networking begin at 6 p.m. followed by our guest speaker(s) and business session.

Meet Monique Russell, ABWA DCCC Annual Banquet International Speaker

​​​​Join the American Business Women’s Association Douglas County Charter Chapter for its annual banquet on April 28, 2020. Our banquet will be held in lieu of our monthly meeting. Our keynote speaker will be Monique Russell.

Monique Russell is a Communications Expert, Inspirational Teacher, and Speaker. Originally from the beautiful islands of The Bahamas and Nigeria, Monique is passionate about teaching women leaders and teams how to turn likes into LOVES in their business and life. Real love in business is like real love in any relationship. In a world of constant change and ongoing noise, it's becoming harder and more difficult to stand out and make authentic connections that build trust, loyalty, and brand champions. Learn the key ingredients you need to turn likes to loves while remaining genuine, making money, and gaining digital power.

Monique has 20 years’ experience in Communications and leads Clear Communication Solutions–an international training, coaching and consulting firm that focuses on confidently communicating from the inside out. She has worked with several institutions of higher education in the areas of diversity, cultural sensitivity, public speaking, and communications with an emphasis on Emotional Intelligence. Because of her background, she is a frequently sought after guest on business, local and international radio shows, and she's been quoted and featured in publications as a subject matter expert in the areas of leadership and effective communications in the United States, United Kingdom, The Bahamas, Namibia, and Jamaica to name a few.

Meet Sindy Tirado, Digital Marketing Consultant, RevLocal

​​​​Join the American Business Women’s Association Douglas County Charter Chapter for its January 28, 2020, monthly meeting. Sindy Tirado, Digital Marketing Consultant, RevLocal will be our guest speaker talking about Pathways to Your Business: Website, Social Media and Advertising. 

 

Sindy joined the RevLocal family with direct experience working with RevLocal as a client while working for West Vinings Dental Aesthetics. Having worked in local businesses since 2011, she has a passion to help local businesses grow. Sindy has a strong customer service focus as well as the ability to connect with people, which serves her well with clients. She is a Digital Marketing Consultant over the Atlanta area. Sindy also has experience in broadcasting and production and spent time working for CNN en Español during and after graduating from City College of Ft. Lauderdale with her associate's in broadcasting.

A Murder Mystery Wine Tasting & Dinner Event

Join the ABWA Douglas County Charter Chapter for An Evening of Intrigue

Join the ABWA Douglas County Charter Chapter for an evening of intrigue as we kick off our first murder mystery wine tasting and dinner event. Proceeds will benefit our education scholarships. Our event will be held on November 19, 2019, from 6 pm - 8 am at a secret location. Advanced ticket purchase is required. The location will be revealed closer to the event after your ticket purchase.
