The Douglas County Charter Chapter (DCCC) of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is pleased to announce the election of its 2022-23 Executive Board. The 2022-2023 Executive Board is as follows:
· Vonda Thorpe, President
· Rebekah Reynolds, Vice President
· Michelle English, Treasurer
· Teresa Rice, Secretary
· Dr. Deborah Johnson-Blake, Parliamentarian
These leaders participated in the Chapter’s officer installation that was held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Meeting Exclusive, LLC, 3379 Highway 5, Douglasville, GA 30135. The league year begins on August 1 and ends on July 31.
On August 14, 2022, the American Business Women’s Association National Office announced that the Douglas County Charter Chapter received recognition as a 2021-2022 Level II Best Practices in League Management.
The mission of the American Business Women’s Association is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.
